Role of sandbox
Allows to engage with regulators on the legal and regulatory implications of decentralized data sharing and traceability, particularly concerning data ownership, privacy, and compliance with various industry-specific regulations (e.g., food safety, product labelling). The sandbox helps in validating the legal robustness of the decentralized knowledge graph and ensuring its interoperability with existing regulatory frameworks.
Results obtained
- Gaining regulatory clarity and validation for a decentralized supply chain traceability solution that enhances transparency and trust in various industries contributes to building the foundational data layer for future industrial MetaVerse applications.
- While not directly a VW application, the solution’s focus on creating verifiable and interconnected data about real-world products and supply chains is a foundational element for an industrial MetaVerse or digital twin environment. This allows for immersive visualization, real-time monitoring, and interaction with digital twins of physical assets within a VW, enabling better decision-making, quality control, and consumer engagement.
