IRIS-XR is developing a next-generation extended reality (XR) platform that combines advanced hardware and intelligent software to significantly improve visual quality, energy efficiency and real-time responsiveness. By integrating innovations in photonics, compact sensing and AI-driven multimodal interaction, the project addresses key limitations of current XR systems, including contrast, stability and seamless integration.
