Uplandme, Inc. (Upland) is the developer of a location‑based virtual real‑estate metaverse mapped to real cities. Players buy, own, and develop virtual land parcels (NFTs) using in‑game currency.
The platform enables player-owned shops (“Metaventures”), UGC creation, treasure hunts, races, and branded partnerships.
Upland abstracts blockchain complexity by allowing purchases in fiat, enabling asset sales via Tilia Pay into USD. The economy includes UPX for property and Spark/Sparklet for building and creation. Governance and gradual decentralisation empower community participation.
