Numeum is France’s leading digital industry association, established on June 18, 2021, through the merger of Syntec Numérique (founded in 1969) and TECH IN France (formerly AFDEL, founded in 2005). Representing over 2,500 member companies—including digital service providers (ESNs), software publishers, tech consultancies, and platforms—Numeum accounts for approximately 85% of the French digital sector’s revenue and over 530,000 jobs. As a member of the Syntec Federation and DIGITALEUROPE, Numeum serves as a central platform for policy advocacy, industry collaboration, and digital transformation in France and Europe.
Numeum is structured around two main divisions:
Services Division: Encompasses digital service companies (ESNs) and technology consulting firms.
Solutions Division: Includes software publishers and digital platforms.
The association actively engages in policy advocacy, representing the digital sector’s interests at both national and European levels. It collaborates with public authorities, contributes to legislative processes, and participates in strategic initiatives to foster a favorable environment for digital innovation.
Numeum also organizes events, workshops, and seminars to facilitate networking and knowledge exchange among its members, further strengthening France’s position in the global digital landscape.
