The Khronos Group is a member-funded, not-for-profit consortium that develops open, royalty-free standards for 3D graphics, virtual and augmented reality, parallel computing, machine learning and vision processing. In XR and virtual worlds, it is especially important as the home of OpenXR and glTF, which support cross-platform interoperability for immersive applications and 3D assets.
