France Immersive Learning was founded in 2018 with the ambition of uniting players in immersive technologies working in the field of training, education and cultural mediation. It has more than 60 members, including startups, SMEs, large companies, distributors, universities, public and private institutions.
France Immersive is active in many areas of education in immersive XR/VR, including:
- Free digital guides to Immersive Learning (in French and in English) and to XR accessibility (in French)
- Organisation of meetings and seminars for our members
- Use cases observatory
- Scientific and ethics committee
- A common booth in conferences (including UnitedXR 2025, Laval Virtual 2026)
In addition:
- France Immersive Learning is a founding Board member of XR4Europe
- France Immersive Learning is an associated partner of the ViWAS project selected for the Virtual Worlds Skills Academy
- Our member Arts et Métiers - ENSAM is Work Package leader of the ViWAS project
- Many members of France Immersive Learning participate in the VR/AR Industrial coalition
- Our member Immersion company is a founder of the Virtual Worlds Association
