ANIS (Asociația Patronală a Industriei de Software și Servicii) is Romania’s leading employers’ association for the software and IT services industry. Founded in 1998, ANIS represents over 160 member companies, encompassing both Romanian and multinational firms, including startups and large enterprises. Collectively, these members account for approximately 66% of the national IT industry’s revenue and employ around 42% of its workforce. ANIS plays a pivotal role in advocating for the development of Romania’s high-tech sector and enhancing the quality of STEM education.
ANIS serves as a central hub for collaboration among technology companies, government bodies, public authorities, and academia. Its mission is to foster a stable and predictable economic environment and to support an efficient educational system, aiming to position Romania as a European technological center of excellence.
