Alpa XR

Established in 2022, ALPA/XR brings together key players in Luxembourg’s animation and immersive media industries. The association was founded by five prominent studios: a_BAHN, Doghouse Films, La Fabrique d’Images, Radar Films, and Zeilt Productions. These studios have produced internationally acclaimed films, series, and XR experiences, recognized at major festivals such as Cannes, Annecy, Venice, and Tribeca. 

ALPA/XR’s mission is to:

  • Represent and advocate for the interests of animation and XR producers in Luxembourg.

  • Promote the Luxembourgish animation and immersive media sectors on both local and international stages.

  • Support the growth of the industry, which employs over 200 professionals annually.()

  • Foster innovation by embracing technical, economic, and creative developments in the field. ()

Notable projects associated with ALPA/XR members include:

  • “Nächst Statioun”: An innovative animated series featuring characters Klaus and Mish, utilizing real-time 3D technology developed by ZEILT Productions. 

  • “My Identity Is This Expanse!”: A VR short film by Karolina Markiewicz and Pascal Piron, produced by a_BAHN and Zeilt Productions, showcased at international festivals. 

  • “Zero Impunity”: A powerful animated documentary produced by a_BAHN and Mélusine Productions, awarded Best Film at the Animafest Zagreb. 

Through these initiatives, ALPA/XR plays a pivotal role in advancing Luxembourg’s presence in the global animation and XR landscape.
